Semakin dekat raya, semakin lembap produktiviti penyelidikan. Menulis laporan satu muka dirasakan satu cabaran, sedangkan 'dateline' semakin dekat, di tambah pula dengan 'gentle reminder' email yang diterima dari supervisor tercinta. Aduss... sungguhla mencabar bila hati dan pemikiran tidak bersatu.
Maka mulala tangan menggatal mencari tetikus menggodek-godek laman sesawang. Email-email lama mula la dikemaskini, konon-kononnyer. Email yang dirasakan tidak perlu dibuang. Dek kerana itu, terjumpala pula alamat blog Dino, a friend of mine yang diforward oleh Afizan. Dengan tak semena-mena mata menangkap sesuatu yang similar. HHhmm.. mungkin disebabkan oleh persamaan bulan kelahiran, anak kedua atau? Baru perasan yang template blog yang kami pilih sama. Sangatlah serupa. Cuma berbeza dari susun atur layoutnyer sahaja. Senyum terus melerat lantas tergerak hati ingin menulis entry blog kali ini.
Enough said, back to research cik faya. Gambate, stop procrastinating.

Eid Mubarak countdown
Another 4 days before Eid Mubarak. Unlike last year, I'm not at all excited to celebrate it.
Last year, around this time, me and hubby has already busy preparing for the food namely raya cookies and other ingredients for Raya.
We even went to Hyperama in Nottingham to buy juices in bulks, plastic plates and cups and many more. The menu for takbir raya and open house has long planned.
This time last year, the house has already been decorated with Raya cookies received from home, Raya cards and new outfit for Raya.
But everything isn't the same this year. No new traditional outfit for raya, no Raya cookies received from home sweet home in Malaysia and no home bake raya cookies made. And we didn't bother to organise a Raya Open house. Everything seems dull. Eventhough we did went shopping at Leicester last Saturday, the excitement seems to fade when we reached home, knowing that the outfit bought wasn't at all represent the traditional outfit normally wore during Raya aka Eid Mubarak.
Upon listening to Raya song, I have to admit that it did stirs my raya mood, but not as much. Probably due to a submission due a day after Eid. Also, knowing that one of my best friends here in Loughborough won't be here with us celebrating Eid. The two will be leaving this Thursday to celebrate Eid in Malaysia. They both will be back only after 3 weeks.
Yeah, mistery solved. The two are the main factor why I wasn't as excited to celebrate Eid this year. Hhhm..
But 1 email recevied today changed my mood almost completely. I am now planning with my hubby to organise the Takbir raya the night before Eid. At least, the mood to celebrate Eid will come after listening to Takbir raya and most importantly, I have to prepare some dishes for the guests that night. Thank you to someone, and I hope that someone won't feel left alone. Knowing that there's always someone who cares and cherish you as someone inportant in our life.
HHmm... thinking of the menu for the night and what to prepare for the following morning. Should I make rendang or masak lodeh? Am contemplating now.
